Laurie Chase Fine Art

Laurie is an award-winning contemporary realist and signature member of the American Society of Marine Artists. Her landscapes and marine paintings can be found in prestigious destination resorts, institutions, and in private collections worldwide.

She has just translated her collection to availability world-wide on a recent addition to her website home-page, www.lauriechase.com, and several social media outlets including Facebook and Instagram. This new purchasing ability for open-edition, limited edition and original artworks makes her work available worldwide.

Laurie expanded her focus to include the wine industry when she was invited early 2016 by the prestigious, Michelin-starred Le Montrachet Hotel, located in Puligny-Montrachet to introduce her contemporary realism paintings to the Domaines and vignerons (vintners) of Burgundy. The initial exhibitions occurred in May and November 2016, followed by a joint exhibition in 2017 with French impressionist Jean-Claude Bligny. Many vineyard domain commissions resulted from her presence in Burgundy making her subject matter include centuries-old landscapes and structures one inhabited by the Cistercian monks.

Laurie grew up in Chicago and paints images from her extensive travels which have carried her internationally from the Danube Delta to the Greek Islands, Mediterranean, Adriatic and Caribbean Seas, Florida Keys, to the Mexican Riviera. This has allowed her to paint shorelines and countrysides in a contemporary realistic style. Her goal is to chronicle the nautical life along these seacoasts and harbors and bring the viewer an escape to another place in time. And now with the vineyard element as part of her repertoire, vineyard commissions are expanding in west and east coasts.

For her many paintings of of Portofino, the harbor and surrounding town, which were commissioned by Princess Cruise Line for their permanent collections aboard their ships, the Mayor of Portofino presented her to the Italian broadcast and print media proclaiming her "the ambassador of the beauty of Portofino to the world."

She has been one of the featured artists on Princess Cruise Lines' ships for many years and has done signature paintings for the Four Seasons Resort, Punta Mita, MX, the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay, CA, Marriott Harbor Resort, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, to name a few.

She also is known for her commissioned paintings of classic and antique wooden boats as well as portraits of unique private homes and estates and welcomes the opportunity to "give presence to your passion" through a commissioned painting.

One of her recent nautical commissions, available as a Limited Edition, is of a 31', single-man, custom Carl Douglas Racing Shell, the "Mary Elizabeth Stone." Carl Douglas Racing Shells are the finest in the world with the most high-tech, advanced construction and hull forms of any racing boat.

Her exhibitions have been expanded in Florida on both the east and west coasts. Laurie is a resident of Tampa, FL.
